Our Story & Foundation

Where We Come From

The Fountain Church began in 2017 through the merger of two local congregations: Impact Church and Trinity Christian Fellowship. Both churches shared a dream to create a community where everyone truly feels welcome—where there’s always a seat at the table, no matter your background, story, or culture. That vision lives on today as we continue to build a church that reflects the love of Christ for all people.

Our Vision for the Future

Where We're Headed

Looking ahead, our mission remains the same: to be a family built on hope. Hope for the future. Hope for healing. Hope for better. Above all, hope in Jesus. As we grow together, we are committed to building a culture of belonging and inclusion, where every person knows they matter and has a place in God’s family.

Rooted in Truth, Centered on Christ

Statements of Faith

Our beliefs about Jesus, the Bible, and the Church shape who we are as a community.

The Bible: We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine.  We believe the Bible was written by men inspired through the Holy Spirit and is the final authority on all matters concerning a believer's personal faith, truth, morality, and Christian living. (II Timothy 3:16). We believe the Bible teaches that God is the Creator and Sustainer of human life; that God creates each person in His image; and that life is therefore sacred, from conception to natural death. We believe that God creates each person as male or female; that these two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the "image of God" in humankind; and that each person's biological gender is an intrinsic, immutable aspect of his or her nature and identity.

We believe the Bible teaches that God established marriage in the beginning as a lifelong, exclusive relationship between one man and one woman; that He has reserved sexual intimacy as an expression of love and commitment between husband and wife; and that any intimate expression of sexuality outside of Biblical marriage is sin.

God: We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who became flesh as Savior of the world and at His ascension He left/promised His Holy Spirit to empower the Church. (Matthew 3:16-17, Acts 1:1-9).

Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man (John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:15-20), conceived through the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin, and lived a perfect, sinless life (Matthew 1:18-25, Hebrews 4:15). In obedience to the Father’s redemptive plan Jesus gave His life as an eternal sacrifice (Romans 5:6-8, Ephesians 1:7). Through His death, burial, and resurrection Jesus provided the payment for the sins of humanity and overcame death, giving everyone the opportunity to enter into eternal life through the gift of salvation (1 Corinthians 15:2-8).

The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit was sent from heaven on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4), and He permanently resides in every believer convicting them of their ongoing need to repent (John 16:7-9). He gives spiritual gifts for the Church’s good (1 Corinthians 12:4-11), empowers believers to do the works of Jesus Christ and to be His witnesses to all the world through godly living and fruitful service (2 Thessalonians 2:13-17, Ephesians 2:10).

Salvation: We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for salvation and the forgiveness of sin (Ephesians 2:13, Romans 5:9). We believe that everyone is born with a sinful nature (intent, willful sin) and that all mankind is separated from God and in desperate need of the reconciliation that comes through Jesus Christ (Romans 3:21-26, 8:1-4), therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in Jesus (Ephesians 1:7-9, Ephesians 2:8, Acts 2:38, 3:19, 20:21). Only those who repent and turn from their sin and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior are born again of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20).

Baptism: We believe in water baptism by immersion, because Scripture shows that Jesus modeled this manner as the way to publicly acknowledge our faith in Him (Matthew 3:13-15). Baptism is an act of obedience and the necessary next step after salvation to identify with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.  It is a proclamation of our new life and power in Christ (Romans 6:1-14, Colossians 2:9-12). Baptism is commanded by Christ of ALL disciples (Romans 6:1-14, Colossians 2:9-12).

The Church: We believe that the Church is the body of Christ and that we are united together through faith in Jesus Christ who is the head of the Church.  We believe in the Church of Jesus Christ, founded on the Day of Pentecost, consisting of all Christians everywhere, and organized into local assemblies, called churches (1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Colossians 1:18). We believe the Bible teaches that every Christian should be an active member of a local church. The Bible commands believers to gather together to devote themselves to worship, prayer, and the teaching of God’s Word. We believe, as long as (whenever) the Church gathers together(assembles), we are to remember the Lord by celebrating Communion. (Hebrews 10:24-25, Luke 22:19), The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world. (Romans 15:5-6, 1 Peter 2:12).
